JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a maintenance mechanic focused on troubleshooting, you will work with diagnostics, ongoing maintenance, repairs, and improvements on various types of doors and associated mechanical systems. The work is primarily carried out in industrial, workshop, or depot environments and includes both mechanical and electrotechnical components of door functions, such as motors, control systems, sensors, locks, pneumatics, and safety equipment.

You will ensure that all maintenance follows applicable safety regulations, routines, and quality requirements. The role also involves conducting simpler root cause analyses, documenting completed work in the maintenance system, and contributing to continuous improvements. You play an important role in ensuring high operational reliability, correct functionality, and safe use of the door systems.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education in industry, mechanics, vehicles, or technology, or equivalent documented work experience. You have experience working as a maintenance mechanic in industry, workshops, or production – or you have a strong technical interest and enjoy tinkering in your free time. Furthermore, we believe you have:

• Good understanding of mechanical systems and machines

• Experience in troubleshooting and repair within vehicles or industry

• Basic knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, or hydraulics

• Ability to read and work from drawings and technical documentation

• Good computer skills for reporting in the maintenance system

As a person, you are practical, meticulous, and responsible. You work in a structured manner, are solution-oriented, and find it easy to collaborate with others, while also enjoying working independently. You have a safety mindset and follow routines and instructions. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, as well as basic English. Shift, night, and weekend work may occur.
